Top 8 Vegan & Vegan Friendly Restaurants in Cabo

Is Cabo vegan friendly?

According to Happy Cow, there’s only 2 vegan restaurants and 29 vegan friendly in Cabos San Lucas as well as 1 vegan restaurant and 27 vegan friendly in San Jose del Cabo at the time of writing this article. While it is vegan friendly, there are other cities in Mexico you might want to consider such as Playa del Carmen, Tulum, Mexico City and Puerto Vallarta or Puerto Escondido.

Is Cabo worth going if you’re vegan?

Cabo is a beautiful place, with stunning beaches, and many things to do. But when it comes to food for vegans, I wouldn’t rate it as my top destination. The very few all vegan restaurants are doing amazing and the restaurants with vegan options make it worthwhile with the dishes they create but personally, I would prefer to travel to other parts of Mexico where there’s even more vegan friendly restaurants.

But if you are going to Los Cabos, here’s places you should have at the top of your list if you’re vegan. A mix of taquerias, farm-to-table, cafes, and high end restaurants that are worth checking out!
