The best tacos in the city! (in my opinion).
The BEST tacos you’ll find in the city. They have an extensive taco menu, but you can also get tortas and even enfrijoladas. Highly recommend the pastor and bistek tacos! They even have a great breakfast menu with both Mexican and American style dishes (their pancakes are thick and fluffy!).

Located in the San Ángel neighborhood, Na Tlali focuses on pre-hispanic cooking, which was primarily vegetarian. Dishes are inspired from the state of Veracruz and Oaxaca. Everything is made from scratch and each dish is a knockout when it comes to flavor. A favorite dish here is their emmoladas. They have different mole sauces to choose from and it’s a must try for any mole lover. Be sure to make reservations as this place fills up fast, but I can guarantee you will have an unforgettable meal!

Expendio de Maiz Sin Nombre in Mexico City is a unique spot where the chef brings his rural kitchen to the city, serving up flavorful dishes based on heirloom corn. There's no menu - just tell them if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions and they'll whip up some tasty dishes. They'll keep serving you plate after plate until you say stop. It can run 600-800 pesos per person depending on your dietary preferences and the number of dishes you order. Cash only. There's also no reservations so plan accordingly as the wait can be long, even for just for 1-2 people. But 100% worth it to have a one-of-a-kind dining experience. Also, it is communal seating.

Finca Don Porfirio is a restaurant and cafe that gives you the best view of Palacio de Bellas Artes museum. Enter the Sears store located across the Palacio de Bellas Artes museum, then take the elevator to the 8th floor. There you'll see the Finca Don Porfirio that has balcony seating that overlooks the famous museum. To guarantee a good spot, I highly recommend to go when the cafe opens if not earlier. Not only do they serve coffee but they also serve delicious Mexican drinking chocolate.
