6 Best Restaurants for Vegans in Beaverton, Oregon

Over the last few years, Beaverton has grown significantly, especially with its food scene. Several Portland businesses have been opening up locations in Beaverton, providing more of a variety of cuisines to be enjoyed. While the vegan food scene in Beaverton may not compare to Portland’s, there are some hidden gems in Beaverton that are worth checking out! Both vegan and vegan friendly.

JUNE

This 1920s deco style all vegan cocktail bar is brought to you by the same people who brought you Victoria Bar, XO Bar, and plenty of your bar favorites. When it comes to the food, their menu is a play of bar food mixed with flavors of India, so you’ll see Masala fries, ginger agave roasted carrots with a mango chutney and soy yogurt. There’s also large plates such as their June Burger that has a green chutney aioli and a chick’n sandwich with a miso-curry ranch.

Hapa Pizza

This Neopolitan Asian-Inspired pizza spot has been popping up at multiple markets around PDX but last year, they opened their brick and mortar in Beaverton, Oregon.

Their vegan options are limited (only 2 pizza options) but the one that is worthwhile to try, is their Khao Soi pizza! Make it vegan by asking for vegan cheese and tofu and this is a pizza I guarantee you’ve never had before.

Khaoi Soi is a curry noodle dish from Thailand but Hapa has perfected it making it into a pizza. The curry sauce is satisfying and their crust is fluffy and chewy. I recommend ordering in advance to go or expect a bit of a wait because their location is small but it is well worth it!

Tito’s Taquitos

Tito’s Taquitos makes hand-rolled taquitos filled with light and fluffy potatoes then served with your choice of toppings on top. You get 4 taquitos per order and these are fried to perfection, giving you the perfect crunch with every bite. For vegan topping options, they include chickpea al pastor and mushroom asada (my personal favorite) and ask to make it vegan so that they don’t add the cheese and cream. You can also get tacos made with hand-made tortillas filled with the same options. Don’t forget to get a cup of their agua fresca of the day!
