The park features a day-use area with clean, well-maintained facilities and a mix of shaded and sandy areas perfect for relaxing by the water. Here you can enjoy swimming, tubing, and other water activities in the refreshing river waters. While the park can get crowded on hot summer weekends, arriving early in the morning ensures a more peaceful experience, but it’s also a great spot to came later in the day after 5 pm.

Keep in mind, if you are by the falls, shaded areas are very limited but the water is refreshing. It gets very popular in the summer time so arrive early if you want to get a spot by the falls. There are other areas for swimming along the Washougal River on this road as well.
