Roma Norte is a historic and lively neighborhood renowned for its rich cultural heritage and diverse culinary landscape. Boasting a captivating blend of tree-lined avenues, elegant mansions, and a thriving arts scene, the neighborhood exudes an unmistakable charm.

Roma Norte is where you’ll find most vegan restaurants in the city. From cute vegan cafes to innovative fine dining establishments, the neighborhood has a bit of everything. In addition to its vibrant food scene, Roma Norte is home to a myriad of art galleries, boutique shops, and cultural landmarks, making it a must visit!

Here are 3 spots that I highly recommend!

Por Siempre Vegana Taqueria

This taqueria stands out as a must-visit destination for both vegans and food enthusiasts. The menu features an array of classic and innovative and flavorful vegan tacos. From pastor and chicharron to milanesa and suadero tacos. They even have tortas and gringas that you can wash down with agua de jamaica (hibiscus water) and horchata. These are hands down the best and closest tacos to the ones I had growing up when I would visit my family in Tijuana. A must for any taco lover!
